Yellowjackets
Yellowjackets are stocky, black-and-yellow wasps that nest in the ground, wall voids, and sometimes in attics. You may notice lots of activity around a single hole in the ground, or see them hovering near siding, deck steps, or landscape features.
They are very protective of their nests and can sting multiple times. Mowing over a nest or stepping too close is a fast way to ruin a weekend. We locate nest entrances, treat them with professional products, and help you avoid surprise encounters in high-traffic parts of the yard.
